This is a group for anyone interested in the Python programming language. Join us to learn, share and network!
We hold regular in-person meetings in Wellington, New Zealand.
Some meetings support online participation, so you can choose to RSVP either "Online" or "In person". Such "hybrid" events will also be listed in our group "Python New Zealand - Online Events". If you plan on attending meetings online, consider also joining that group for all our online events and hybrid events held in other cities.

An introduction to marimo reactive Python notebooks. I'll introduce the weaving-space project where I wanted a web app as a point of entry for non-coders. For a long time I was stuck thinking I'd need to rebuild the whole thing in Javascript and then I came across marimo, which in addition to being a Python notebook like Jupyter can be 'compiled' to web assembly as a no-server, no-javascript web app.Python talks!
