From the initial session on Digital Wallets, it became clear, that outside the crypto world there is still a lot of confusion of what a Digital Wallet is. Questions around what are critical operating assumptions (and why)? What is the difference between a crypto wallet and an identity wallet? Do they overlap? And what about devices? Increasingly SSI technologies are moving into the IoT sector, how do wallets fit into these environments? And underlying all of these wallets, how are the private keys protected. There are secure elements, trusted execution environments, hardware security modules, which is used where and when? Are there critical design considerations when building a wallet around key storage?
