In this talk, we will look at some of the different types of databases in existence, and maybe even touch on the history of some.

This will lead us to the main stars of this talk: PostgreSQL and the entire Graphile suite:

PostGraphile - a backend written in PostgreSQL with an auto-generated GraphQL API.
Graphile Worker - a message-queue based on Node.js and PostgreSQL.
Graphile Migrate - an experimental migration tool for PostgreSQL that focuses on fast iteration speed
Next.js and Typescript in the frontend, with auto-generated GraphQL types.

This talk will show an unconventional yet elegant, quick, and secure way to approach modern web application development.
