-------------------------------------------------------------------------------On Friday morning, after arriving on the first ferry to Angel Island, we will slowly hike around the island with packs, stopping to visit the Immigration Station, beaches, and other historical points of interest.
The Kayak Group campsite is 5 miles away from Ayala Cove along the Perimeter Road. After we set up camp in the afternoon, there is an optional trip to visit the neighboring beach or hike 8 miles (RT) to the top of Mt. Livermore (735 feet elevation) looking at wildflowers along the way.
The evening will end while we enjoy dinner with the sun setting in the background. The trip ends at 10 am on Saturday when the first ferry arrives or you can spend extra time on the island and take a later ferry home.Be at the Tiburon ferry dock at 09:15 to check in. The ferry cost is $18 round trip and is Cash only. Tickets are also available on line at
