Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society is a community-oriented non-profit organization interested in all facets of psychedelics and wellness. We are dedicated to education, advocacy, outreach, and overall support for the safe and responsible use & research of psychedelics, entheogens, and plant medicines for therapeutic, spiritual, and recreational purposes. We organize monthly community gatherings and events.
Santa Cruz Psychedelic Society does not explicitly advocate for the consumption of psychedelic substances — if you choose to engage in these substances, it is your responsibility to educate yourself on how to use these substances safely, responsibly, and intelligently.
We will provide the resources for education and support, but we do not sell psychedelic substances nor do we give your advice on how to access them.

Psychedelics in Recovery is a 12-step fellowship of people from ALL 12-step programs and other paths of Recovery who share our experience, strength, and hope with each other. Our primary purpose is to pursue Recovery and to help others do the same, as defined by the individual. The only requirement for membership is a desire to recover from our addictive behaviors. PIR focuses on integrating the safe, intentional, and/or ceremonial use of psychedelics and/or plant medicines to support 12-Step Recovery.

Staying in the Circle: This circle is a sacred space, and your presence significantly contributes to the communal energy. If you join, we invite you to stay until the end. If you need to leave early, please inform the group.
Substance Policy: No buying, selling, or recommending of medicine, drugs, or related services is allowed in the circle. This ensures our space remains focused on support and safety without commercial influences.

A guided journey through nature, allowing the healing energies of the great outdoors and microdosing to enhance your connection with the natural world. This group was inspired by the work of our friends from Mycorising, offering Hikerdose gatherings in the East Bay. Our sessions are facilitated by our leadership team and Community Partners Seba and Javi from Green Magic Yoga. This is a BYO Event, +21 years old, no buying or selling.
How to attend?

Suggested donation $10-$25Agenda
- Meet at 3:00pm, depart at 3:10pm (plan to arrive 10-5 minutes earlier)
- Route: Provided after registration. Difficulty: medium
- Return around 6:00pm
- BYOM Bring your Own Mushrooms. Microdosing is optional and less than 0.3gr.
- No other substances, no buying/selling, thank you.
- We will start in a circle together at the meeting point. We will offer a brief meditation / intention sharing and opportunity to microdose in community.
- There will be a ~15min segment of the trail where we will share a silent walk. After this we’ll gather in a circle and do a mid-point check-in.
- You are invited to bring poetry, song, spiritual questions, etc.. throughout our journey together.
- We close with a check-out circle.
