What we’re about
Come join the Detrash Portland anti-litter movement! We are a group of people who volunteer to keep Portland a beautiful city by thinking globally and acting locally.
Detrash Portland is now a SOLVE program, an Oregon based non-profit dedicated to keeping the state clean and healthy.
Picking up litter is an easy thing to do for our environment, and we’re also here to show that it can be fun. Join us at different neighborhoods throughout the city. We’ll talk about a game plan, hand out cleanup supplies, and then fan out for about an hour or two, cleaning up the surrounding area. Afterward we’ll meet back at our starting point for a comparison of our haul and to check in with each other. We hope you join us! Many hands make light work.
