Come Join The Largest Electric Skateboarding Event in Washington DC! This 2-day event will be an incredible start to the summer riding season!
On Saturday, May 18th, we will be hosting group rides all day. These are open to all types of PEVs and riders of all experience levels. Our meetup will take place at Union Station, at the Freedom Bell at noon. The first ride will depart at 1pm. Our last ride of the day will finish near Union Station, therefore it is best to park near the station or use public transportation. Our tentative schedule for Saturday:
11:00AM: Meet at Union Station
12:00PM: Group Ride
2:30PM: Group Ride
7:00PM: Group Ride
We have grown so large, there will no longer be a central charging location like we have had in the past. Instead, we will be sharing a list of PEV friendly locations to charge at in DC between rides. Groups should attempt to limit themselves to no more than 10 people at any given venue.
On Sunday, May 19th, we will be setting up a track at the Skate Park at RFK to demo boards and practice track riding skills.
Safety is the most important thing during any track day. Helmets are required to ride on the track, while full-face helmets and additional safety gear are strongly encouraged. The track will be limited to electric skateboards and electric unicycles only. We don't want anyone getting seriously injured at this event.
