Welcome to the South Florida Wine Tasting and Food Pairing group!
We'll journey to local wine bars to sample wines, appetizers, and even main courses from across the wine spectrum and the culinary world.
We'll even include highly recommended restaurants along the way with hearty wine lists.
With this said our events are largely of two types: Informal get-togethers which I host where you choose what you wish to drink and eat at no initial cost and formal wine-tasting and food pairing events that are unhosted, requiring a ticket and costing an average of $150.
Our geographic reach (for now) will be between West Palm Beach and Pompano Beach.
No drinking or eating experience is required.
Be ready to learn a little about wine, share your knowledge of wine and food with others, meet new people, and share new experiences.
Separate checks will be issued for each person at each event and no one will be charged more than what she or he has ordered.
Ladies' nights are being contemplated but a host or hosts will be needed.
This is NOT an exclusively singles group, and many couples have joined our activities. It's a get-together group of fun people of all ages, shapes and sizes.

The 16th Annual Pompano Beach Fine Food & Wine Celebration”, presented by Pompano Magazine and Hosted by the Greater Pompano Chamber of Commerce, will take place Thursday, April 24, 2025 at the Pompano Beach Cultural Center from 6-10 P.M. The evening will kick off with a champagne reception Sea Watch before moving on to the main tastings featuring some of the finest cuisines from more than 40 local upscale restaurants plus Wines, Fine Liquors, Cigars & Bourbon, a Beer Garden, Desserts and Coffees too. Attendees will indulge in some of the finest cuisine, liquors, and so much more that this town has to offer! Live entertainment will feature The Steve Pomeranz Band on the poolside stage while the Jen Martinez-Bre Jazz Quartet fills the Ballroom with the mellow sounds of Jazz.
