What we’re about
Welcome! We are excited you've found this group and hope to continue growing this adoptee community!
This is a space run by adoptees for adoptees, meaning people that identify as an adoptee/have been adopted. If you also identify with other parts of the adoption triad (adoptee, guardian, first/birth family), you are still welcome to join and center your adoptee experiences in this space.
We will hold events a minimum of 4 times a year/once every 3 months so if you don't see anything posted check back later while we work through organizing.
Organizers
Sarah: transracial Chinese adoptee adopted at birth

Monica: adoptee

See all- Hike and PicnicNeeds location
Let's go for a hike and picnic at Picnic Point. There is free parking on weekends at Lot 130 (Lot Address: 2003 University Bay Drive, Madison WI 53706). We will meet at the Trailhead sign and begin on the Marsh Loop. This is roughly a 2 mile walk, and will be a casual hike so that we may enjoy the nature around us. We will set up our picnic at the end point circle where there is plenty of seating to relax. Please bring food to share with a group. I will bring bottled water and plastic utensils/ napkins. If you do not want to participate in the walk but still picnic with us, please meet us by the entrance sign at 12:30 PM.
