Details

THESE WALKS ARE BEING LED FOR THOSE ON THE NORTH WALES BREAK AND ARE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THERE IS NO NEED TO RSVP AND NO WALK FEE IS PAYABLE.

Two easy but delightful walks. The first is a 20min loop from the car park to the Falls before we head off in a different direction to Fairy Glen, which will take around 1hr 20mins.

Both walks start from the Conwy Falls car park (see photo) and afterwards we will delight our taste buds in the Falls café, which has a nice outdoor seating area.

The café building was designed in 1957 by Clough Williams-Ellis who was responsible for the development of Portmeirion and affords us the opportunity to sample Bara Brith: a spiced fruit cake. If there’s one slice left, you know who it belongs to……!!

Toilets are available without having to go inside the café. The start point is only 2.5miles from our hotel so not far to drive back afterwards. Postcode is LL24 0PN.

NOTE: You will need coins to pay for the entrance fees to both the Falls & the Glen (£2 & £1 at the time of the recce’s). Both entrances are unmanned (normally) so you will need the correct money.

I have no formal walk leader or first-aid qualifications and the Group does not have insurance. When you RSVP for any walk, you accept that you remain responsible for your own safety at all times. You are required to respect the walk leader and be mindful of the safety of others. Please keep to the pace of the group and don’t go off ahead even if you think you know the route.
