What we’re about
A warm welcome to The York Photography Network!
Our vision is to create a community with an interest in any aspect of photography, with the emphasis on meeting people through practical activities in a collaborative and supportive environment based around regular meeting nights.
We welcome photographers, smartphone users, videographers, models and make-up artists, or anyone else who's interested, with any level of experience from absolute beginner through to professional.
We're calling it a "network" to emphasise the collaborative and informal nature, just come along and join in as and when you like.
There is no fee, only a suggested donation of £2 per person on the door.
We also have a Facebook Group, or follow us on Instagram @yorkphotographynetwork or VERO.
The activities are really just an excuse to get together, make some new friends and above all get shooting!

Following the success of our last 3 trips away we’re doing it again!
Full details are yet to be worked out, but you will be responsible for your own transport, accommodation and food.
Last year we started with a social on the Friday evening at a pub chosen by the early arrivers, went off in small groups during the days and reconvened as a group on the Saturday evening.
We’ll probably do the same this year as it worked really well.
There is no need to come for the whole weekend, just come for a day if you prefer.
