hi 食飽未 привіт sveika cześć ciao здрасьте ahoj שלום servus 今日は hola! We are London's community for expats, travelers, "third culture kids" (TCKs) and everyone who has an international, multicultural or multilingual story.
Since 2012 we run weekly socials, excursions and cultural activities while fostering a safe, inclusive and civilised atmosphere.
All our events are volunteer-run, so if you'd like to join or help our team, please message our team account "TP".

How to participate? You must enter our ticket lottery at https://worldcitizenfridays.eventbrite.co.uk!
- If you're picked, you will receive an invitation email with the secret venue address on Thursday or Friday.
- The lottery helps us balance quantity and quality, and gives everyone a chance to experience safe, diverse and culturally enriching events.
- So expect less attendees than the number of RSVP, but more quality time connecting with everyone in a meaningful way!Event details
-When? Every Friday, 7pm until late. Join anytime!
-Where? The secret location changes every week, but it is usually within 1 or 2 tube stops from the London Bridge/Monument area.
-Cost: Pay for your own meals or drinks
-Hosts: We have a rotating team and the host of each event may vary
-Can I bring a friend? If you receive the invitation email, please follow the process described there to bring a friend. Do not share the secret venue address with anyoneWhat we expect from you:
- To be respectful and courteous with everyone.
- To be present so that others feel listened to.
- To be mindful of people’s personal space.
These events are for everyone to feel safe, welcome and comfortable; where everyone can be heard; where everyone can maintain boundaries with harmony. Thank you for your cooperation!
We put women first: Over 80% of women in the UK say that nightlife is unsafe (YouGov Oct 2021 poll) because of predator men and alcohol/substance abuse. We want to completely change that: World Citizens proactively designs event systems for everyone to enjoy a safe and pleasant evening.

Most events do very little against that, but we want a complete change - old norms should never be an excuse! World Citizens proactively addresses these concerns and designs events for everyone to enjoy a safe and pleasant evening.WHAT IS WORLD CITIZENS?

You MUST enter the ticket lottery at https://worldcitizenfridays.eventbrite.co.uk
-Why? For safer, diverse and culturally enriching events. If you didn't get approved in the lottery, come to our other weekly events.
-Where? We change location every week and only reveal it to the lottery winners: The exact address will be emailed from Eventbrite sometime between Thursday and Friday afternoon.
(Do not share the secret venue address with anyone, no matter who asks! Our team takes care of all the communications!)
-What? A mix of informal and structured socialising activities

To plan your travel in advance, just know that the secret location will be around 5-10 minutes walk from the Meetup map pin!*Our 3 simple event rules*
1. Be respectful and courteous. Any harassment, creepy or abusive behaviours will not be tolerated.
2. Be present and considerate. No phones, interruptions or covert sales.
3. Drink responsibly. Alcohol is no excuse for bad behaviour.
