SOLD-OUT! Croatia: Dubrovnik, Zagreb, & Split - May 10-17, 2025

Details

Join WTA for an enchanting time in Croatia! On this trip, you will visit the praiseworthy cities of Zagreb, Split, & Dubrovnik. Croatia has developed a wide artistic, literary, and musical culture over the centuries. The country’s rich heritage lives beyond its museums, churches, and cathedrals. You will be surprised to discover that nearly ten percent of Croatia’s territory is occupied by national parks, nature parks, and protected areas; and nearly half of its land area is covered by untouched nature. The inland capital of Zagreb is famous for its dazzling Austro-Hungarian architecture and its charm stemming from vibrant culture and history. The stunning upper district of the city is dotted with medieval settlements on hilltops, cobbled streets, and medieval squares.

ITINERARY
DAY 1 – May 10 – Arrive at Franjo Tuđman Airport Zagreb (ZAG), and private transportation will bring you to your accommodations in central Zagreb. After settling in, join your new travel companions for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 2 – May 11 – Join your group on a private tour of Zagreb, capital of Croatia and home to the Croatian Parliament, Government, and President. You will learn of the historic and political threshold between the East and West, illustrating both the continental and the Mediterranean spirit of this nation.

DAY 3 – May 12 – Explore the oldest and the largest national park in Croatia – stunning National Park Plitvice Lakes. As the only National Park in Croatia on UNESCO’s list of protected natural and cultural heritage, you will be amazed by the beauty of sixteen wonderful interlinked azurely-green colored crystalline lakes.

DAY 4 – May 13 – Today, experience a private walking tour of Old Town Split. This tour will take you to the places off the beaten path and allow you to discover local food. The second-largest city in Croatia, Split (Spalato in Italian) is a great place to see Dalmatian life as it is lived.

DAY 5 – May 14 – Your group will travel from Split to Dubrovnik today, a scenic three-hour drive. This evening, experience an intimate farm-to-table oyster harvest dinner on a private island.

Day 6 – May 15 – FREE DAY in Dubrovnik. Indulge in a day of shopping, relax on one of Dubrovnik’s beaches, or take the cable car up above Old Town for stunning panoramic views of the coastline.

Day 7 – May 16 – Discover the city of Dubrovnik, the pearl of the Adriatic, where your group will walk around the Old Town via Onofrio’s Fountain and up Prijeko Street to the Old Port. Tonight, toast to an exceptional week on the Adriatic Coast with your new companions.

Day 8 – May 17 – A private transfer will take you back to Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) for your connecting flight to the US.
