Walk the Cheriton Battlefields

The Battle of Cheriton was a major turning point in the English Civil War and resulted in an important Parliamentarian victory that helped shape the future of England.
We will meet at 09:45 for a 10:00 start in the lower car park at Hinton Ampner House and start the walk at Hinton Ampner Church, the trail follows in the footsteps of the men who fought on both sides of the battle.
The walk is 5 miles long, not challenging and is suitable for people of moderate fitness. It should take between 2 & 2.5 hours at a steady pace.
Afterwards, for those wishing to partake we will move on to the Flowerpots Inn for refreshment.
