Vermont Fall Foliage Photo Tours and Workshops

Join us on an autumn photo adventure to photograph beautiful Vermont. Explore during peak fall foliage. We will photograph some of Vermont's most scenic places.

We will photograph autumn reflections, waterfalls, rivers, great mountain vistas, covered bridges, red barns, and picture postcard villages and many more subjects.

As a resident of New England, John has been photographing and exploring this area for decades. He is a professional photographer who know the area inside out. John will take you to some well-known locations and several secret spots.

Anyone with an interest in photography from beginner to professional photographer who has a love of being outdoors and nature. All skill levels.

Group Size:

Our groups are small. This group size allows for flexibility in our plans if interesting and unexpected photo opportunities present themselves. It will allow us to work with each participate to provide complete, informative, helpful lessons. This also ensures that no questions are unanswered.

Itinerary:

We always go for the best light, which makes the great photo opportunities. The schedule will be flexible to maximize it.

Day 1:

Check in to Vermont hotel (near Montpelier) then meet at 3 pm.

We will have a group introduction then leave to photograph the afternoon light and continue until sunset then a cozy restaurant.

Day 2 -4:

We will visit multiple areas throughout Vermont. This includes sunrise and sunset and several hours in between.

Day 5:

Sunrise Photoshoot. We will have everyone back before hotel checkout time 11am. This will be the conclusion of the trip.
Result:

We will help you create beautiful images and have fun but also teach skills and techniques you can use to take your photography to the next, higher level! When the weekend is over, attendees will have a solid understanding of nature photography and your camera.

Transportation from hotel to field locations is included.

About Us:

John Slonina is a professional nature photographer who has been photographing for over 30 years. John has a love of natural history. During the workshop, you will receive information on photography techniques and the natural world. Understanding nature not only increases your appreciation of it but also helps you become a better nature photographer.
