Fast-paced hike!**

This one is a bit of a trek from Philly so let's plan to carpool! $10 Parking Fee per vehicle.

Points of interest:
• Bear_Mountain_State_Park
• Perkin s Memorial Tower
• Trailside Museum and Zoo
• Anthony's Nose

Dogs welcome, but not allowed on the short Trailside Zoo section of the Appalachian Trail. Those with pups will take an alternate route with me.

DISTANCE: 11 miles
PACE: 2.5 mph
DURATION: 5.0 hours
ELEVATION GAIN: ~2200'

**While this is anticipated to be a fast-paced hike, please expect frequent stops to allow the group to regather and enjoy the scenery. Please be mindful of group unity and adjust your pace accordingly.

Bring:

1. Water (at least 3L recommended)
2. Electrolytes (Saltstick capsules, Gu, Nuun tablets, Shot Blocks)
3. Snacks/Protein bars
4. Lunch
