Come on this 7 mile spectacular woodland walk in Ashdown Forest exploring the haunts of A A Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh and his much loved friends - discover the bridge where Pooh played Pooh sticks !
Please note that I shall not be at London Bridge as am staying over in Tunbridge Wells on Wednesday night after the Tunbridge Wells circular walk.
Please come to the main ticket office by 10.20am to facilitate the purchase of group train return tickets for the 10.54am train that arrives at Tunbridge Wells at 11.40am followed by 291 bus at 11.54am that arrives at Anchor Inn pub in Hartfield at 12.18pm.
Train ticket : Return to Tunbridge Wells
Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or in advance by bank transfer.
Things to bring : packed lunch, water, snacks etc as well as waterproof jacket and walking shoes/trainers. If it is a hot day in prospect also bring sunhat, suncream and sunglasses.
You should be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour and have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity.
We shall have a drink in the pub or have tea in the Pooh Cafe before making our way back on the 291 bus at 5.06pm then the train from Tunbridge Wells arriving back in London at 6.37pm.
