If you have wanted to try indoor rock climbing / boundering, join us for a bouldering experience at Grand River Rocks Waterloo.

All climbers will go through a boulder orientation with staff before climbing.

Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move around in. If you don’t want to rent climbing shoes, tight-fitting running shoes with a good grip are a good alternative.

Cost is 24$ for the day pass and 6$ for shoe renting.I

Meeting new people as an adult isn’t always easy—but it can be fun! Join us for a relaxed, welcoming social night designed for those in their 20s and 30s. We’ll provide games and laid-back activities to help break the ice, so you can unwind, de-stress, and connect with new people in a low-pressure environment.

This program is taking place twice in the spring on Tuesday, April 29 and Tuesday, May 27.

A monthly series hosted by the library, this month Dr.Roan Haggar speaks about galaxy clusters

Jane’s Walks are citizen-led walking tours that make space for people to observe, reflect,
share, question and collectively reimagine the places in which they live, work and play.

This walking workshop invites participants to imagine new ways of connecting with one another in this public space. Along the route, we will discuss ongoing efforts by community members and local groups to bring people together in public parks. The walk will end with open conversation, giving participants a chance to connect and share ideas with one another. This walk is perfect for those passionate about the cultural vitality of our local parks.
