A warm and bright hello to all you wonderful, shining stars of hope!

Can you believe it is almost the end of March?! With April quickly approaching we are excited to announce that on Friday, April 26th from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at our Haven of Hope location we will be celebrating YOU!!

April 27th to May 3rd is Volunteer Appreciation week, and we at The Salvation Army Haven of Hope wish to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one for you for your unwavering passion and selfless dedication to support the beautiful Regina communities.

Sharing your time, good cheer and the gift of your presence not only brings light into the lives of others but also spreads the warm glow of hope and connection through us all. You touch the lives of others through even your smallest act of kindness, and we want to thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. And not just with words, but with coffee, treats, and a special evening just for you!!

We hope that you will join us in celebrating Volunteer Appreciation Week.

In addition to Brunch Club, we now have Breakfast Club. Held every 2nd Saturday at 9:30 AM. Know of a place we should visit, post the name and location in the comments. The event is for members who'd like a quieter atmosphere to visit and get to know each other. In a months worth of struggles, triumphs, and successes, a person never knows where the conversation leads. ;-)since we save spots for whoevers coming, please let me know if someones showing at the last minute, or not at all. otherwise we will just order;)

Twice per year our group gathers to select wines which we enjoy throughout the year. Wine kits must be selected BY this date (not specifically this date/time) in order to be ready by bottling day. In the past people have split kits between them, so feel free. If a person cannot make it on this day, please go into the Wine Cellar sooner, pick a kit(s), mention you're with our group and you're set. Wannado members will receive 10% off Kits, Corks, Labels and Shrink Wraps. You can either bring in your own empty bottles or purchase from Wine Cellar on bottling day. (June 14th). Depending on what kit you select and whether or not you need bottles, the price per bottle works out to be an average of approx. $5.

Kit prices vary between $80-$200, plus corks, bottles, labels and shrink wrap. You will end up with about 30-33 bottles. A$60 fee per kit is charged to make the wine. Wine bottling day is picked for June 14th to allow a 7 week minimum for kit aging. If you sign up for this event, please also sign up for the June 14 event (Spring Wine Bottling)
