A longer distance, rollercoaster walk around the countryside surrounding Barnstaple climbing 4 hills: Codden Hill, Acland Barton, Maidenford Hill and Waytown/ Yeo Valley Woodland enjoying beautiful high-level views of the Taw Estuary and surrounding countryside. This walk will include a stop for lunch please bring snacks and drinks.
Meet at Barnstaple former Park and Ride car park/ Park School at 10am.
Start/ Finish: Barnstaple former Park and Ride car park/ Park School EX32 9AX
Distance: 11.4 miles (18.4 km) 628m of ascent.
Route type: Circular
Grade: Challenging
Terrain: Public footpaths, woodland trails, and roads. Wet and muddy patches in damp weather. Many stretches of ascent/ descent. Paths uneven and rocky in places.

Parking: Barnstaple old Park and Ride car park (free)
