Let's go with the flow on this truly beautiful 9 mile river walk in Evesham a medieval market town that feels like stepping back in time !
We shall pass by the Bell Tower by All Saints and St Lawrence churches and also Abbey Park that so dramatically houses the remains of Evesham Abbey.
The walk shall take us past delightful Fladbury and its iconic Mill before we arrive at The New Inn in Cropthorne.
Please arrive by 9.05am so as to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets and we shall take the 9.50am train that arrives at Evesham at 11.36am.
Train ticket : Evesham return.
Or you may decide to drive.
The walk shall commence by 11.50am.
Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket, walking shoes boots or trainers plus sunhat,sunglasses and suncream.
Meetup fee £8 payable in cash or £6 by Friday by bank transfer in advance, details available upon request.
Please make sure that you have adequate and appropriate insurance for this type of activity and you should be fit enough to walk 2.5 miles per hour.
We shall take the bus from The New Inn at 4.47pm and then take the 5.38pm train from Evesham that arrives back at 7.24pm.
You may of course decide to explore a little more and take a later train back to Paddington.
