As we continue our volleyball journey, we're thrilled to announce the new indoor volleyball session 2024/2025 season with the Smashing Expats.
Whether you're a current member looking to extend your volleyball adventure or a prospective player eager to join our community, we invite you to join the excitement of the upcoming season.
Recruitment Information for Specific Teams:
- XR1 (Mixed Team): Those interested in joining our XR1 mixed team should contact Xiaoyu for further details (training on Wednesday).
- XR3 (Mixed team): This team already has a sufficient number of players; however, contact Sarah & Abraar if you would like to join one of their training sessions.
- H1 (Men's Team): If you want to join our men's team, H1, don't hesitate to contact Marciano and Neville for more information (training on Wednesday).
- DS1 (Women's Team): Prospective players interested in our women's team, DS1, can contact Eleonora &Katherina for additional details.

Important information:
Location: Zwartewaalstraat 39, Rotterdam
Neville will lead our event, who will guide the session and ensure adherence to the rules.
Current NEVOBO team members will also be available to address any questions about the NEVOBO competition.
Event Overview:
Preparation (8:20 PM to 8:30 PM):
- Please arrive on time, dressed in gym shoes and sports attire (no outdoor shoes allowed).
- Set up the playing field, including the net and antennas, and check the attendance list.
Warming-up (8:30PM to 8:40PM):
- Warm-up exercises without and with the ball.
Game (8:40 PM to 9:50 PM):
- Engage in a friendly match.
Stretching and cooldown (9:50 to 10:00)
Important Rules:
RSVP and Payment: Due to health and safety precautions, we kindly request an updated participants list, RSVP, and payment two days before the event. The payment link will be shared one week before the event.
The gym rental and training contribution is € 4,- per evening (1,5 hours).
Members subscribing to the NEVOBO competition teams will be requested to pay a full-season fee, the total amount of which will be communicated in August '24.
Precautions: The doors will open at 8:15 PM and close promptly at 8:30 PM. If you experience a fever or other flu symptoms, please refrain from attending the session. Maintain regular hand hygiene and avoid shaking hands. Cough or sneeze into your elbow and use paper handkerchiefs. We eagerly anticipate your presence at the event!
