Midday Hike at Smith Rock

Feeling inspired by spring's emergence? Join us for a breathtaking hike at Smith Rock State Park on May 4, led by our very own trail enthusiast, Ric Piece!

We’ll kick things off at noon at the welcome center, setting out on a scenic 6-mile loop that winds around the river and up Misery Ridge. If peeps are up for it, there will be an opportunity to extend the hike taking Burma Road to Summit Trail and over Misery Ridge.

It’s the perfect day to soak in sweeping views, enjoy Ric’s guidance, and get that heart rate going!

Misery Ridge offers awe-inspiring panoramic sights at the top, making every step worth it. Layer up, bring your sense of adventure, a sturdy pair of boots, water, and be ready for a rewarding hike with like-minded explorers!
