What we’re about

This group is for small dogs, up to 20 lbs, although nearly all our dogs are 15 lbs and under. We'll do walks in and around Victoria, BC on a regular basis. Most walks are an hour, more or less, although some walks have the option to keep walking for longer. In addition, there will be social playdates, where we can meet - in a park, or a backyard, or an off-leash area. At these playdates, x-pens will be set up to cordon off an area for ourselves. Bring a chair as depending on the location, seating could be limited. The playdates will occur intermittently between April and September. Walks are every 2nd Saturday starting at 10AM. Special events include summer socials, our annual Xmas party, coffee get-togethers, and new events as we think of them. Humans of all ages are welcome to join and attend. Membership is free. You might consider joining our Purple Paw Donors Circle.
The Purple Paw Donors Circle is the core group of members who keep this group going with their donations. Anyone can become a Purple Paw member of the Victoria Small Dog Walk and Play Group simply by making a donation of $20 or more. You can donate cash at the actual events, or e-transfer funds to me at tidbitdog@gmail.com. Many members just come for the walks and don't contribute at all. That's okay, but they miss out on special events, prize draws, low-cost purchasing opportunities, front-of-the-line RSVP privileges to our regular walks, and more.
