Japan’s traditional festival is a place to thank gods for their blessings and gather on special occasions with friends and family, serving as a catalyst for bonding communities. We would like to create our version of this festival here in Boston.
This festival provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about Japan and its culture. By learning and understanding culture, the fear of the unknown disappears and has the power to form a bond, connecting people of various cultures and backgrounds to build a foundation for peace.
The JFB Executive Committee is comprised of only volunteers, and we are driven by meeting different communities and seeing the love that Boston has for Japan. With the involvement, donations, and support from various organizations, companies, and most importantly Boston, we have been able to hold a wonderful, festive event. We truly appreciate all of your support and generosity.
Check out the video here, it is always so much fun to experience others culture yet realize we are all the same. So come and join us.
