What we’re about
Welcome! We are thrilled to create a new home for vegan and vegan-friendly fans of science fiction, superhero stories and fantasy.
Our number one planned activity is going to sci-fi, superhero and fantasy movies. To be followed by a vegan dinner. (You do not have to be vegan to join our group, but all food ordering at our meetup events must be vegan. That is one of our founding principles.)
We are also a home for comics fans.
While movies and television are a main focus for our group, we are also fans of science fiction, superhero and fantasy writing in books and periodicals.
We will attend New York Comic Con every year. Other cons are also on our radar screen, including those in New Jersey.
While animation is not a named focus of our group, we will be attending some animated movies as well. Other types of events will include book and film discussions, and nightlife, dining and day trip events.
Of course, all events are optional. We invite you to attend the ones that look good to you. Joining the meetup group gets you on our mailing list, so you will be notified of new events.
