Conventional Excel techniques for generating Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts required more helper columns than chart source data columns. With the advent of Dynamic Array formulas, intermediate calculations need not clutter up a worksheet. Microsoft MVP Jon Peltier will show us how conventional SPC formulas can be converted to simple Dynamic Arrays, and how these can be further combined into a single Lambda formula to make dynamic charts as follow-up data is added.SPEAKER PROFILE:

His background includes Statistics, Total Quality, and Six Sigma, and he knows more about Excel charts than practically anyone. Attendees can join the Teams Meeting starting at 8:45am on the day of the event. The link will be visible only if you RSVP beforehand.Once the event gets underway at 9:00am, we ask that attendees make sure they are on MUTE, so background noise and distractions are minimized.

You’ll also discover how to use Python commands to make modifications to your data, such as cleaning, transforming, and preparing it for analysis. Finally, we’ll cover efficient ways to save and export your data, ensuring that your work is ready for further use.Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking for a structured introduction, this session provides the nuts and bolts of getting started with Python — empowering you to confidently take the next steps in your data journey.
SPEAKER PROFILE:
Sue Bayes is a Microsoft MVP (Data Platform), and Microsoft Certified as a Fabric Data Engineer Associate, Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate, and Power BI Data Analyst Associate. For over 7 years now, she has been successfully working as an independent Power BI developer and data analyst within the public and private sector. Her reporting solutions range from project management and planning, to financial reporting, specific service sector reporting, bespoke data cleansing, and sentiment analysis. Before starting her own business, she had 15 years of experience lecturing in Business and Computing.Sue is passionate about data in general and how we can harness information to grow business. She has knowledge of R, SQL and C# but her main love is Python, M and DAX. When not in front of the screen, she loves to run, walk her dog, and be outside.
