- Meetup charges organizers $600+ a year to host a group on the platform (which is sad, even a book club I am a apart of had to close their Meetup group because their fees were too high) PS Meetup if you ever read this could you pls lower the annual fee for me..? 😇

Our most attended event yet, Vancouver Beer & Chess are back to host another event at Progression Bouldering Gym! Featuring a major chess event, a happy hour menu (beer, wine, snacks), and resident DJ Tobi spinning tunes. We’ll have some boards, but feel free to bring your own as well!

*Note - this event is open for any level of chess player, whether you are looking to learn the basic rules, or if you’re a grandmaster!
