What we’re about

Interesting things to do in Manhattan's most northernmost neighborhood.
"Upstate Manhattan" refers to the area at the very northern end of Manhattan.
We use this humorous appellation for our neighborhood,
but we are not to be confused with other groups that have used the same moniker.

Adjacent to Manhattan's old growth forest, the Hudson river, Spuyten Duyvil and Muscota Marsh waterways, and Inwood Hill Park, Isham Park, Ft Tryon Park, the Cloisters, and Columbia University's Baker Sports Complex.

With a range of meetups including: nature walks, Comedy shows, music jams, drum circles and workshops, museums, cultural festivals, film festival, Shakespeare, talks, presentations, lectures, readings, language meetups, games, baseball, softball, lacrosse, field hockey, football, tennis, bird watching and more.

*NOTE: Most of the meetups posted on this group piggyback on events in the northern most end of Manhattan, up in the 200's, that others run and organize. Urban Park Ranger events, Columbia sports events, festivals, shows, lectures and workshops. If you would like to meet, then please RSVP so we know to look for you.
