Triangle Sword Guild

This is a study group focused on Northern Italian Rapier fencing. It is open to any student who has completed six months of TSG beginner classes. The class will rotate through various sources with a primary focus on solo rapier, rapier & dagger, and rapier & cloak. It is a mix of historical study, practical training, and sparring.

If you are new to TSG and would like to get started, please register for one of our beginner classes first. This class is closed to first-time students.

TRAINING FEES: Our club's training fees are $40 / month for ongoing students. For new students, please refer to the Beginner's class meetup event.

Longsword, sidesword, sword and buckler, doesn't matter! Suit up, and get stuck in! This is a time to test your interpretations, practice your skills, and have fun fighting your friends.

Friday night sparring is an informal gathering. We'll ask for RSVPs on the discord server on Friday during the day, and if no one plans to be there, we'll try to cancel the meetup. We recommend checking Discord before dropping by, just to be sure, though.

Presently this class is full and will not be taking more students for the year 2025. The 2026 Trainee Level will be open for registration December 2025. Please NOTE that this class is limited to 22 attendees. For the new class we will be taking the first 22 to apply. The remainder will be placed on a waiting list. This is the introductory class to the combat arts presented in the works of Fiore di Liberi. The Fiore curriculum has four levels of instruction and this is the first stage known as the trainee level. Students will focus on the structures of the body and how those foundations are used within abrazare (grappling), dagger, and the sword.

Please ensure to adhere to the information below! Bring the signed waiver with you to your first day of class as well as your vaccination card.

COVID 19 VACCINATION: This class will be operating under TSG's rules and procedures for operating classes during the COVID-19 pandemic. As this class does not require masks to participate, we do require COVID-19 vaccination to attend.

AGE: Classes are limited to participants age 16 years and older. Participants under the age of 18 need a parent's signature on the waiver.
