Hike at Rocky Face Mountain Recreation Area.

Here is an opportunity to get out and enjoy God's creation. We will meet at the Tanglewood Commons Shopping center over in Clemmons. We will get together close to fuel center near Harris Teeter. From Tanglewood Commons Shopping Center, we will carpool to the Rocky Face Mountain Recreation Area. The Rocky Face Recreation Area is about an hour west of Winston Salem near Taylorsville, NC. Rocky Face Mountain Recreation Area is like a mini version of Stone Mountain which is a granite rock outcropping. The hike is about five miles long with well groomed trails. 70 percent of the hike is moderate and about 20 percent is strenuous. There is one section of the hike that is very steep but also short in distance. After the hike we can stop for dinner someplace, on the way back to Clemmons. Dinner is optionable. This is a very pretty park. I am looking forward to getting out and enjoying God's Creation.
