Historic Spencer Shops Train Show.

Lets meet at the North Carolina Transportation Museum, located in Spencer, NC. and check out the "Historic Spencer Shops Train Show." There will be model train displays, railroad motor car rides and other very interesting exhibits to look at. The North Carolina Transportation Museum has a nice collection of historic trains. Also, there will be short train rides around the museum grounds. If you have never been to the NC. Transportation Museum, I would highly recommend visiting this historic facility which used to be a railroad shop used for the maintenance and the overhaul of steam locomotives. This is a kid friendly, family event. Parking is free. Regular admission is $8.00 for adults and $7.00 for seniors 62+. General admission plus train ride is $16.00 for adults and $14.00 for seniors.
