What we’re about
Established in 2009 using Facebook as the platform, we have players from all around the world. We use good quality feather shuttlecocks. We limit the number of players for each session to avoid overcrowding. We are an inclusive club, so we welcome players of all levels as we have specific sessions for different levels. Our aim is to provide a platform for everyone, who shares the passion for badminton. So everyone can now enjoy badminton...
• If you are a fresh player or beginner, we can teach and coach you;
• If you've played for a few years already but still don't feel confident, we can help you improve and get to the next level;
• If you are a highly skilful, advanced player, we can certainly challenge you in competitive games.

There are dedicated sessions on Tuesday for intermediate/advance players only (league or county players). Players may be asked to play in separate courts according to their playing level. Beginners / low intermediate players may be asked to leave without refund if level is unsuitable. All other sessions are open to all levels.
Important: Beginners or improvers MUST attend our training sessions first before joining the normal games-only sessions, so that we can get them started to play with others safely.
Weekly club sessions are:

We use Playwaze (the only way) to manage club session booking and payment. Please go to the link below to book. Make sure you check the date you want to attend and book and pay for the correct date (FYI, we are not a sports centre and do not hire courts for your own personal use. Sometimes sessions may change due to venue closure etc, but the events on Playwaze are the most up-to-date).
Do not book via Meetup as it charges every booking additional fee. We use Meetup for promotional purpose only.
Please bring your own racket. If required, racket is available for hire at a small fee of £3. Please contact Brian Ng if you need one.
The club provides training and coaching sessions to players looking to learn the right techniques or improve their game play. Players get tailored training and attention in a small group.
Private coaching (1-to-1, 2-to-1 or 3-to-1) (singles or doubles) or competition-focus training can be arranged directly with Brian Ng.
Junior badminton lessons are available on Sundays during school term. For more information on junior badminton, please go to LCWBC Junior Badminton Facebook Group or email: lcwbcjuniors@gmail.com
Please contact Brian Ng to discuss your coaching requirement or private coaching. We have a pool of excellent coaches.
We have received great feedback on our coaching sessions. To see what people have said (so far) about our coaching and training sessions, go to https://bit.ly/2WQ76L6
Session fees: £10 per person for a 2-hour session. £22 per person for a group coaching/training session. The session fee includes processing fee that goes to payment processing company (not LCWBC).
Important: We operate on a booking policy to make it fair for others who wants to play. There is no waiting list.
All bookings are paid in advance. There is no waiting list. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless if we are unable to run a session where you will be offered a replacement session. If you cannot attend anymore after making your booking, please update your RSVP to remove your place by clicking 'Edit RSVP' and changing RSVP to 'Not going' so that your place can be released to someone else. If you do not withdraw in good time, then your booking is a 'no-show' and you will be banned. Use a UK bank account to pay. Do not use overseas account, Amex or Revolut.
Please read our policies:

We understand that things may change (due to injury, illness or transport issues) but please book only when you are certain. If players want to book well in advance to secure their places, then they have to bear the risk of their own changes and that they have to withdraw without refund.
