The Adventure Alley is a private group that fosters a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment for outdoor enthusiasts of all levels. We believe adventures are more meaningful when shared, and we encourage teamwork, shared responsibilities, and mutual learning. From mountain hiking to local trail explorations, there’s something for everyone.
Safety is a shared priority—members must come prepared with the right gear, skills, and awareness of their own limits. By looking out for one another, we create a supportive community where trust and camaraderie thrive.

**Membership Policy**:
- New members automatically receive a 1-month free trial upon joining.
- After the trial ends, members will be prompted to pay the $10 annual membership fee via e-transfer to theadventurealley@gmail.com. Please avoid paying by credit card, as it will result in charges in USD.
- If the membership fee is not paid within the given time frame:
- Members will be temporarily removed from events they signed up for.
- Non-members will lose access to current event details and group activities.

Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk
I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in events organized by the event organizers/volunteers at The Adventure Valley. I understand that these activities involve inherent risks that may lead to injury, illness, or even death.
In consideration of my participation, I agree to the following:
- Assumption of Risk: I recognize that all events organized by the event organizers/volunteers carry risks including, but not limited to, physical injury, accidents, and adverse weather conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in these events.
- Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, and discharge the event organizers, its affiliated organizations, volunteers, and staff (collectively referred to as "the Organizers") from any and all claims for injury, death, or damages arising from my participation. This release applies to any claims caused by negligence or other acts of the Organizers.
- Agreement Not to Sue: I agree not to initiate any legal action or claim against the Organizers/volunteers for any injuries or damages incurred as a result of my participation in any events organized by The Adventure Alley.
- Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizers/volunteers against any claims made by other participants or third parties as a result of my actions during these events.
- Image consent: Your image may appear on either Facebook, Instagram or Meetup platforms as photos or video, please advise if you object to it being posted or it will be assumed that you’ve given full consent.
- Medical Emergency: In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the Organizers to seek medical treatment on my behalf if necessary. I accept full responsibility for any related medical expenses.
- Governing Law: This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario.
By accepting to join The Adventure Valley group, I confirm that I have read this waiver in its entirety and fully understand its terms. I acknowledge that this is a binding legal document intended to protect the Organizers and their volunteers involved in facilitating these events.

Code of Conduct
To maintain a positive and enjoyable atmosphere for all members, we ask that everyone adhere to the following guidelines:
RSVP Policy:
- If you cannot attend an event, please remove your RSVP at least 72 hours in advance so that those on the wait-list have the opportunity to join.
- Members and non-members who do not RSVP or on WAITLIST will not be permitted to join any part of the event. This policy is in place to protect our team from potential liability issues, ensuring that we can create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
- Members are required to communicate with organizers/leader/volunteers to inform them of who their guest will be.
- RSVP but no show is not acceptable.
- Failing to comply 3 times will result in permanent removal from the group.
Participation:
- Be present and engaged during events.
- Contribute positively by sharing ideas and supporting fellow members.
- Respect the time of others by being punctual.
Punctuality:
- Members are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled events.
- Those who arrive late for important activities may be left behind, and it will be the member's responsibility to make arrangements to catch up. Failure to do so may result in removal from the schedule for that event. Members must take full responsibility for accommodating their timetable and any associated expenses.
- Furthermore, failure to adhere to the established timetable will not result in any compensation or refunds.
Respectful Communication:
- Treat all members with kindness and respect.
- Listen actively and engage in constructive conversations.
- Avoid hate speech, personal attacks, or discriminatory remarks.
Smoke-Free & Scent-Free Zone:
- All events are strictly smoke-free. Smoking is prohibited within the event area.
- If you wish to smoke, please use the designated smoking areas outside the event premises.
- We kindly ask all attendees to respect this rule to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone.
- Violators may be asked to leave the event.
No Harassment:
- Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
- This includes unwanted attention, stalking, or any inappropriate behavior.
- If you feel uncomfortable or threatened, please report it to the organizers.
- Violators may be asked to leave the event.
Inclusivity:
- Embrace diversity and welcome individuals from all backgrounds.
- Be open to different perspectives and experiences.
- Ensure that everyone feels included in discussions and activities.
Safety First:
- Prioritize the safety of yourself and others during group activities.
- Follow any specific safety guidelines provided for events.
- Report any unsafe conditions or behavior to the organizers immediately.
Consequences for Violations:
- First Offense: A warning will be issued by the organizers.
- Second Offense: Permanent removal from the group at the discretion of the
organizers.

Event Details:
- Location: Lake Superior Provincial Park - Agawa Bay Campground.
- Campsites: A329 & A331
- Duration: 2 nights
- Activities: Paddling, sunbathing, swimming, hiking, campfire and campfires.
- Accommodation: Front-country camping style.
- Campsite Facilities: The campsite has full facilities with a little bit of walking distance, including showers, flush toilets, and picnic areas to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Bring your own food: The closest grocery stores are in Sault St Marie town.
- Transportation: Please arrange your carpool and share with members on this comment platform.
Team Cooking and cleaning: Participants must work together as a team to share the responsibility of preparing meals. Please bring your own personal camping gears and share cooking systems.
Equipment Required:
- Basic camping gear, including a tent to share (No Solo tent, please) sleeping pad, sleeping bag, pillow and camping chair.
- Personal food supplies and cooking equipment to share with the group.
- Park Campsite Rules: Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 6 people with up to 3 tents. We need to coordinate with campers for group sharing to ensure everyone has a spot.
- Share with the Group: Coordinate with fellow participants to share a campsite or tents and enjoy a communal camping experience. Participants must be okay to share the tents with fellow members. We will try our best to accommodate the best ability we can to ensure you feel comfortable.
Additional Details:
- Participants can arrange to extend their stay before or after the event. Plan your own accordingly if you manage to secure a campsites.
- Please note that this event is for members only—no outsiders or non-members will be allowed. If you'd like to bring a guest, please let your organizer know ahead of time.
- Once we have everyone onboard, we will transition our discussion to the WhatsApp platform close to the event date.
Brief itinerary:
- Friday:
- Drive up throughout the day OR for those who can't take a day off for Friday, crownland camping near Killarney is another option.
- Saturday:
- Discover the land nearby. Check-in at the park and setup campsite.
- Hang out at the beach. Watching sunset. Collecting rocks.
- Sunday:
- Drive along the scenic viewpoints of Lake Superior.
- Hike up the hill for a panoramic view.
- Then choose to either hike along a section of the Coastal Trail or rent a canoe to explore ancient Pictographs.
- Monday:
- Drive back to Toronto.
For those looking to take their camping to the next level, car campers and vanlifers are especially welcome! Plan your route and meet us there. $10 per person for this event.

Join us for a delightful morning as we explore the old forest and celebrate the beauty of Ontario's provincial flower, the Trillium. This guided walk will lead you through picturesque trails where you'll have the chance to admire and photograph the carpet full of elegant white blossoms of the Trillium. It's the Trillium season, and the trail will be in full bloom, providing perfect opportunities for photography. Whether you're a seasoned photographer or simply enjoy capturing nature's beauty, this event is perfect for beginners level who enjoy a slow pace and multiple breaks; taking the time to smell the flowers. It's a leisurely hike that allows everyone to fully appreciate the beauty of the Trillium and the tranquility of the forest.Photography contest

We'd love for you to join us in celebrating Mother's Day with a fun-filled day at Niagara-on-the-Lake. If you're free and don't have any big plans, come along and let's make some wonderful memories together!

- What to bring : Wear appropriate layers of clothing. Daypack, sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat. Bring at least 2L or water, pack your healthy lunch, a camera and an enthusiastic attitude.
- Distance : Approximately -40km+ going and back.
Here's the plan:
- Bike Adventure: Bring your own bike or we'll rent bikes from Zoom Leisure and take a leisurely ride through the vineyards and wineries. $40 for a full day. E-bike cost more. Discount are available for a group more than 10 people. Let me know if you would like to rent together or separately.
- Wine Tasting: Sample some of the finest wines the region has to offer.
- Niagara Falls & Lewiston-Queenston Bridge: Enjoy the breathtaking views of the falls and the iconic Rainbow Bridge.
- Picnic at the Park: We'll pack our lunch and enjoy a delightful picnic in the park.
- Afternoon Tea: We'll take a relaxing break at one of the most charming Victorian cafes for afternoon tea.
- Tulip Extravaganza: We'll spend time outdoors, soaking in the beauty of the tulip gardens around the area.
- Getting treats: Local ice-cream is a must.
No hiking involved this time – just good company, beautiful scenery, and a fantastic day out filled with activities!

Feeling the pinch of fully booked and expensive getaways this Victoria long weekend? Look no further! Join us for a chill and affordable camping weekend with your fun-loving friends.
Camping overnight at Wheatley Provincial Park for two nights, where you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in nature's serenade. Enjoy watching birds migrating and the soothing sounds of spring whispering through your ears.
We'll drive from Wheatley Provincial Park to Point Pelee National Park for a full-day excursion, taking about 35 to 40 minutes each way. Our event organizer Adley, has planned a short hike to the Marsh Boardwalk at Point Pelee National Park, perfect for capturing stunning nature photography. Then we will walk all the way to the southernmost point of the mainland of Canada—an adventure that deserves a spot on your bucket list. If you haven't had the chance to explore this tip before, now is the perfect opportunity!
