### 🔥 The Connector's Code: Rob MacLeod on Building Power Networks in Music
Before the co-writing begins, we’re handing the mic to someone who’s rewritten the rules of music marketing.
Rob MacLeod is a 25-year veteran of the industry. He’s not just a marketer — he’s the connector. A behind-the-scenes force who’s helped obscure indie acts team up with household names, closed deals across continents, and used network marketing to turn passion projects into publishing deals.
His session: "The Connector's Code" will break down how relationships — when nurtured the right way — become your greatest currency in this business.
Here’s what Rob brings to the table:
- How he built an international network of tastemakers, execs, and artists — and kept it real, not transactional
- How he used his network to connect underground talent with major artists for unexpected collaborations
- How those relationships helped him land a publishing deal with one of the UK’s top independent publishers
- And how you can start applying those same principles right now — no clout or manager required
It’s rare to get this kind of unfiltered access to a career like Rob’s. This is real-world strategy for real-world artists.

### ✍️ Write with Someone New. Discover a Sound You Didn’t Know You Had.
After Rob’s session, it’s time to get your hands dirty.
We’ll mix up the room into fresh songwriting pairs and trios, giving you the chance to work with people you may have never written with before. You’ll be given some creative direction — just enough to kick-start the process — and then it’s go-time.
You’ll co-write a song from scratch, drawing from each other’s styles, skills, and instincts. And don’t worry if it feels strange — that’s where the magic starts.
These sessions are about breaking habits, blending genres, and sparking something new. Whether you’re a hook machine, a lyric wizard, or a beatmaker with wild ideas — we want your voice in the mix.

### 🎙 Perform It Raw — Share What You Created
Once the co-writing session wraps, it’s time to show what you’ve built.
Each group will have the option to share their new creation live. This is your chance to step up and test a brand-new song in front of a room full of fellow creators who get it.
No pressure, no judgment — just connection through music.
These post-write showcases are some of the most energizing moments in our community. It’s where breakthroughs happen. And sometimes, it’s where future bands and duos are born.
