Summer Solstice Extravaganza! Join us at Olympic Overlook Dual Beginner|Moderate

Let's have a Summer Solstice Extravaganza! You choose: Beginner or Moderate route. Bring a snack to share at the beautiful Olympic Farms Overlook as we watch the sun set on the longest day of the year. 🌞

We'll have several hike leaders, and we'll be leading two groups. One group will do a hike suitable for beginners and slow hikers: ~5 miles with a total elevation of ~380 feet. The alternate/moderate route will be more challenging, adding steeper climbs to the same distance of ~5.5 miles, and go at a faster pace.

Both hikes will end at the Olympic Farms Overlook, with an amazing view of the sunset on the longest day of the year!

Start time: 6:30 PM
Trailhead location: Wendy trailhead (see map below)
Sunset: 8:10 PM
**Bring a flashlight or headlamp as it will be after sunset when we head back**

Restroom: Bushes 🤷🏼‍♀️
Bring: Food and/or beverages to share
**Please bring cups/utensils etc. if needed**
Known dangers: Poison oak, insects, possibility to slip and fall
Dogs: No
