TJ Shimeld
Since age 11, T.J. Shimeld has been an entrepreneur, starting as a stage magician, becoming a real estate investor, and teaching business and financial health through his “Know Money” channel on YouTube. He is an author, transformational speaker, and Certified Master ProCoach.
While in college, he interned at Dr. Herbert Benson´s Mind-Body Medical Institute at Harvard University´s health services. After he graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor´s in Clinical Psychology and a Certificate in Community Health, T.J. used his analytic ability to write his first book, a biography entitled “Walter B. Gibson and The Shadow.”
While taking Masters level courses in guidance counseling and teaching, T.J. joined a New England magic company run by Abraham Maslow´s teacher assistant. Here he was introduced to the ideals of Humanistic Psychology and self-actualization. For over twenty years, T.J. has studied the teachings of The Work, from the Enneagram to The Movements from a woman who worked direct with G.I. Gurdjieff.
Originally from United States living in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, T.J. met his husband, Tyler, in North Carolina. Together they currently live in Madrid, Spain with T.J.´s daughter Opal.
