Atlanta Renaissance Fair Meetup!

Hear ye, hear ye! We are organizing a hangout at the Georgia Renaissance Festival! If you've never been to a Ren Faire before, now is a great time to go! If you're a first timer, there's an FAQ on what to expect here: https://www.garenfest.com/frequently-asked-questions

Each weekend has a different theme, and the theme for May 4 is time traveler cosplay! It may be of interest to you that May 4th is also Star Wars day - perhaps this could influence your costume idea? If you're like to do standard Ren Faire attire you're also welcome to! Remember it will likely be hot so don't go for anything too heavy.

The park opens at 10:30, but it would be in your best interest to try and get there a bit earlier as we'll try and group up inside the front gates from around 10:30 - 10:45 before we get going. Remember you are free to meet up with and split off from the group at any time, assuming you can find us.

Free Parking is located about 500 feet past where your GPS will guide you near the big flags. You can buy tickets ahead of time for a tiny discount, but be aware there is no cell reception at the fair grounds so you'll need to have the tickets downloaded to your phone or printed. You can also buy at the gate for like a dollar more. BRING CASH! With no reception or internet out there, credit cards/Apple/Google pay doesn't work.
