Hike Details:
Distance = ~ eight miles
Time: Budget 2 1/2 to 3 hours
Skill Rating = Easy
Pace = 2½ to 3 miles per hour
Special Equipment = None needed
Other Stuff = No dogs allowed, but children that can keep the posted pace are encouraged to attend
Directions/Meeting Spot: There are several ways to get there, either up 985 (take exit 17) or up 400 to 369 East. Either route takes you to about a mile from the Elachee Nature Center entrance. Turn far right towards the toll booth ($5), take the road through the golf course, pass the parking lot on the left (you'll see some mountain bikers there), to the dead end by the nature center where we will park. We'll meet at the sign by the trail head at the end of that parking lot.
And Don't Forget:
We'll go to a local restaurant or brewery after the hike.
See you there!
