Norvin Green 6+ Miles

A moderate/strenous hike in Norvin Green. The hike will first climb to Assiniwikam Mountain via the Will Monroe Loop. The top of this mountain is a rock/boulder field. After desending the hike will then climb via the Red trail to Wyanoki High Point. Finally there will be a downhill walk to the parking lot. We will have 2 signifcant climbs which will lead to expansive view points. This is Not a beginner's hike. There no facilities at the site so find a place to stop along Ringwood Ave.

Bring plenty of water and snacks, and appropriate seasonal items (sun- and insect-protection in summer, and crampons in winter). Day-of-hike-only phone: 201-470-9317 (Paul V.). Note cell reception can be poor at the meeting location.

**Note** We hike at a moderate pace, and never leave anyone behind. Our hikes are not suitable for fast hikers who like to forge ahead of the group.
