The BCW is a non profit organization that educates students in woodworking. Part of our revenue comes from the adult classes we offer to the community. Come learn or hone your woodworking skills with us and support a local organization working to make a difference in Durham.

Furniture Repair Lab
The Bull City Woodshop, 1912 E Pettigrew St,, Durham, NC, USHave a wooden piece in need of a little TLC? Whether it’s a wobbly table leg, a broken cabinet drawer, or a coffee table that needs refinishing, our Furniture Repair Lab is the perfect place to tackle your project with expert guidance.
🔧 How It Works:
- This class is the 3rd Thursday of every month from 7:00-9:00pm.
- Bring in any wooden furniture piece you’d like to repair or refurbish.
- Our experienced woodworking instructors will be on-site to provide personalized advice and guidance.
- Learn hands-on repair techniques, from structural fixes to refinishing tips.
- When registering, please add a note letting instructors know what piece you’re bringing and what you hope to accomplish!
- Cost is $60 per session.
🔨 Project Too Big for One Session?
If your repair takes longer than the class time, consider joining our Open Shop program to continue working on your piece at your convenience!
👟 What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes, no loose clothing or jewelry. All tools, materials, and safety gear are provided.

###### We can offer a full refund up to 7 days before the class. We can issue a transfer of registration if you cancel up to 7 days prior to the class. There are no refunds within the 7 day cutoff and no transfers of registration within the 7 day cutoff.1 attendee
