Important Notice

All meetup venues we currently use require us to provide a list of names (First & Last) and email to their door security so they can check people in at the time of the event. We are also required to bring "a picture ID" that matches the name we provide at the time of registration. Please be mindful of this requirement and provide the necessary information to ensure a smooth check in process at the door. Thank you for your cooperation - the management!

Talk #1 - Security Culture from the Top by Jon Rose

Description - I've been a fractional CISO for 4 years (and a CISO for about 4 more) and now lead a vCISO company (iomergent). I will talk about exec culture and impact on security programs, new programs (iniatives/budget/staffing models), trends, and what we run into. I will also talk on the technical side of Cloud Security and IR in smaller companies and share a few war stories.

Speaker - Experienced CISO with expertise in security tech, pentesting, incident response, strategy, leadership, and innovation.

Talk#2 - Warships and cyber risk quantification OR just cyber risk quantification by Mike Woodward

Description - This is a paper I gave over the summer on the similarity between cyber risk quantification and warship modeling. I have a written paper and slides ready to go. I could just speak about cyber risk quantification too.
