Sugar Loaf Walk

Details
Sugar Loaf Mountain Walk . This is a 5 mile walk - Sugar Loaf is just high enough to be regarded as a mountain. You will need to be fairly fit. There will be horses and sheep so any dog you bring should stay on a lead and be well-behaved ("well-behaved" would mean there's no need to warn other walkers not to approach/stroke your dog, and no risk to livestock). Weather conditions can make this a tough walk. Start point - The walk starts from opposite No.80 Chapel Road, Abergavenny (NP7 7BL should get you fairly close). Directions - M4 west to Junction 24, then A449 north to A40 west to Abergavenny. Follow the A40 through Abergavenny until you find a right turn into Chapel Road. Meet opposite No.80.
Bring: lots of drinking water waterproof clothing walking boots that you are comfortable walking long distances in, spare layers of clothing. If you walk ahead of the walk-leader please make sure you don't go so far ahead that you get lost. Plus-ones not permitted on this walk. Usual BBE Walks disclaimer applies.
