Join us at Tampa Bay Rum Company, also known as Gasparilla Distillery, nestled in Ybor City, just steps from the Columbia Restaurant. This gem crafts an array of rums, alongside select vodkas, brandies, and a whiskey. Most spirits are distilled on-site, and the manager will guide us through a concise tour of their small facility, sharing insights into their production process. For those interested, a tasting of their spirits is available for a small fee of $12, complemented by an on-site bar.

Housed in a revamped former gas station, the distillery’s interior channels a pirate’s lair, immersing you in a swashbuckling vibe. Note: no food is served, but post-tour, we can stroll through Ybor City to explore nearby dining options.

The event runs from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, with the tour slated for 6:30 PM to accommodate late arrivals. I’ll be there early. This midweek gathering is designed to be shorter and unique, distinct from our longer weekend events.

Come on out to the Stone's Throw bar at Armature works. This place is not in Armature works but nestled in between Armature Works and Ulele, right on the beautiful River Walk. The view is beautiful and the ambiance is peaceful and relaxing. Come check it out and enjoy meeting some new folks and visiting with old friends.

Let's beat the heat and get a head start on summer by planning to meet for an outing at Pass-a-Grille Beach, followed by lunch at the nearby Wharf restaurant.

Once you come to the traffic light in front of the pink Don Cesar Hotel, make a left (go south), and go down to the four-way stop. At the four-way stop, make a right onto 21st Ave and you will come up to Gulf Way. Make a left on Gulf Way and start looking for parking. The Park Mobile app can be used for parking.

I will get there early and post my parking space number on this site. Let's plan to meet near that space number at 10:00am.

We can walk out to the beach and hang out for a couple hours. Make sure to bring a beach chair, umbrella, towel, sunscreen, shades, bottled water, frisbee, etc.

After a couple hours of sun and surf, we can walk to the nearby Wharf, https://wharfpag.com/, for some of their delicious seafood.
