What we’re about
This is a group for anyone interested in hiking, camping, etc. All skill levels are welcome. I started this group to meet other outdoor enthusiasts. Looking forward to exploring the outdoors with everybody.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Saratoga Quarry Park - 4 mile hikeSaratoga Quarry Park, Saratoga, CA
In the early 1900s, there were two lime quarries on this site. Santa Clara County purchased the land in the 1920s and converted them into a single gravel quarry to supply material for the county’s roads.
Charity is unable to make it on Wednesday, so John is organizing the Wednesday hike. The mostly out-and-back route will be about 4 miles - length adjusted based upon daylight. There are some sections that are quite steep.
No parking fee but parking is limited so attendees are limited. Bring water and wear good shoes.
