Calling all Pub Trivia fans, players, hosts and venues!
There are plenty of pub trivia gigs in Sydney, and post-Covid, Pub Trivia seems to be as popular as ever. This group aims to provide a way for people to connect to form teams for their local pub trivia nights.
Primary aim is to get groups and teams of players back into pubs and socialising!
This group isn't to promote any business or venue in particular, it's just a way of exchanging information and getting fellow trivia lovers ('Triviaphiles') together.
- If you're a Triviaphile looking to join a team to play in your local area, then you're in the right place!
- If you're a Trivia Team Captain looking for a crew, this is your group, too.
- If you are a trivia host or a venue rep who wants to attract people to your venue, you're welcome to promote your gig.
- If you're a Meetup Group host who posts frequent trivia events (in other groups), we also want to hear from you!
The organiser is a freelance fill-in trivia host who, while North-shore based, performs gigs all over Sydney, so will be posting events all over as they come up.
Other members are encouraged to post the events they're going to (whether playing OR hosting).

Hey, Triviaphiles!
I will be your gregarious trivia host (ie, asking the questions) at the Taphouse this (and every) Tuesday!
I won't be able to play on your team (obviously) - but I'd love to see a Meetup team get together from this group!🎱 I've capped the attendance, as from experience, 4-6 pax is the ideal number of people for a trivia team in a pub venue... not too small to be competitive, and not too many as to invoke 'trivial disputes' among the team.
🍽 Depending on the expressions of interest leading up to this event (and the amount of notice!), I will book a table for the team. 👌
It is a popular spot, and *does* fill up fast - there isn't always room to accommodate walk-ins.
So RSVP early if you're interested, keep your RSVPs up to date, turn up if you've said you will... and by the same token, don't pull out just because you think noone else is going. There's nothing sadder than an empty reserved table.🍜 🥢 The Taphouse has a great Australian Chinese Menu, every single dish is awesome... (I fully recommend the Spice bag, or any one of the One Plate Wonder range)... and of course the range of local brew beers. 🍻
🕖 Trivia kicks off at 7.30pm, so best to get there a tad early to give a chance to to 'Meet Up', get together, introduce ourselves, find the table, order food, drinks, etc... and be in time for my scintillating welcome preamble 😏
There will be a great mix of General Knowledge, current events, Music Clues, Picture Qs and between rounds, trivia games for giveaway Jugs of beer and a bottle of wine. 🍺🍾

Wednesday Trivia at the Harbord Diggers!
I will be hosting trivia (ie, asking the questions) again at the Harbord Diggers - so I won't be able to play (obviously) - but I'd love to see a Meetup team get together!
Trivia kicks off at 7.30pm, and on busy nights, the tables fill up quite quickly - so it's best to get there a tad early to give a chance to to 'Meet Up', get together, find a table, order food, drinks, etc.
This is a Fame Trivia show, so it's free to play, and there will be the usual great mix of General Knowledge, Music Clues, Pic-a-Pic and Spot Questions for food/drink vouchers, 'lollybag' bonuses and don't forget to register for the Fame Trivia Club "homework" question. We might even squeeze in a game of TimTams Heads 'n Tails. between rounds
Prizes for Mounties Members (so you'll need at least one person on your team needs to be a member to collect prizes) ... including up to $600 for the 3-question Jackpot trivia round.
Trivia is held in the Banksia Lounge, in front of the main bar on your right as you come thru the main doors (from the carpark end) and past the pokies lounge.
