Guildford, Chilworth, Bramley Circular + hidden tower (13 miles, Circular)

Join us for a circular walk through Guildford to Chilworth/Bramley. We will walk by Guildford Castle grounds, ascend onto Pewley Hill, following the mile path past the chantries. Next, we'll go past the Chilworth old mills/gunpowder works and the Surrey Hills national landscape, where we'll stop for lunch.
After lunch, our path takes us through Blackheath and Wonersh where we will go for a drink at The Grantley Arms Pub before hiking up to Chinthurst hill for a hidden tower +nature reserve and amazing viewpoint in Guildford.
We will then reach Bramley, continuing the path by walking alongside the River Wey. We will walk past Shalford Water meadows before circling back to Guildford. We will then finish our walk with a well-deserved drink/meal at a local pub (Optional). For those of you who would like to join us for the meal, please do inform me asap (07555 735344). This walk is a moderately hilly path, including historic structures, woodlands, pillboxes, open farmlands, and waterside paths. If you’re into meeting fun people, exploring the green, and getting some sun, this is the walk for you!
