CrazyBird Comedy serves up another stunning line-up of professional stand-up comedy on Thursday 15th May at Stroud Brewery.
Fresh from her recent appearance on Live At The Apollo is Harriet Dyer who will headline thew show. Harriet is a Cornish comedian, writer and mental health advocate known for her quirky, original and offbeat brand of comedy. She has gigged all over the world and is resident MC at ROFL Comedy Club, Sheffield and at the multi award-winning mental health comedy night she founded, ‘Barking Tales’ in Manchester.
She recently won the the Channel 4 Sean Lock Comedy Award for 2024, designed to showcase talented new writers and performers who embody the alternative comedic spirit of Sean and Channel 4.
Supporting Harriet is another Channel 4 Sean Lock Award winner Eric Rushton. Eric Rushton has been impressing audiences with his intelligent, playful material and likeable, self-deprecating stage persona for years and is a multi award winning comic, including English Comedian of the Year.
The night will be expertly held together by local legend Cerys Nelmes as MC. Cerys has had a very colourful and eventful life which she loves talking about to make people laugh. She performs her comedy in a storytelling style with a West Country charm that is easy to warm to.
