Stride and Swim: Early Towel Day!

Towel Day is on Saturday but that will be quite crowded so we'll celebrate a couple of days earlier. We'll hike out of Pruitt TH near Dunnellon on the Florida National Scenic Trail. This section is part of the Greenway we can observe both attempts to dig a ditch thru our fair state. The "diggings" created hills :) It's a gorgeous forested tract. I've seen plenty of deer, birds, butterflies and other critters.
We'll hike out and back. The round trip distance will be 12 miles.
After the hike, we'll head to Rainbow River State Park to swim. $2 entrance fee or state park pass.

bathing suit
