The Bun—exploring new routes

maybe 5 mi, around 700’ gain. the gorge has epic sweeping vistas where the harsh desert and the erosive power of water merge. this will be an exploration, traveling below my usual trail, to scout out possible alternate routes and future hikes. there may be signifucant scrambling as this Is all unknown trail. be prepared. we will probably swing by the “bun” and look at routes toward hamburger rock.

I will wait until five minutes after, if not everyone is present. after that you may need to catch up. Sorry, but STG social hikes are not dog friendly. Come enjoy some exercise and good conversation in the morning.
